Welcome to the Haringey Tennis League!

Round two of the Haringey Tennis League is now underway and will run until Wednesday 25 November, 2009.

There will be another round in January 2010 - if you would like to play, just go to the Join Now page

It works like this:

  • This is a mixed (men and women) singles league
  • It’s divided into groups of about 6 players of a similar standard
  • Everyone in their group plays everyone else
  • Play on any of the public courts in Haringey, including Finsbury Park, Pavilion (Albert Road) and White Hart Lane
  • Matches are the best of three tie break sets (allow 2 hours per match)
  • It’s up to everyone to arrange their own matches at a mutually convenient time
  • You get one point for every set you win.
  • At the end of the round, the top one or two players go up to the next group, and the bottom one or two go down.
  • You get a free can of balls and two bonus points if you complete three matches by the half way point
  • Everyone who wins their group wins £20 and a certificate
  • What's not to like? Why not give it a go!
  • Email: Haringeytennisleague@googlemail.com

If you complete three matches by the half way point of any round, you will get a free can of tennis balls
